  1. Combine tomatoes, sugar, and salt.
  2. Peel oranges and lemons.
  3. Slice peel very thin, boil in the water 5 minutes, and drain.
  4. Slice orange and lemon pulp and remove seeds.
  5. Add with rind to tomato mixture.
  6. Put spices loosely in a thin, white cloth; tie top tightly; and add to tomato mixture.
  7. Heat slowly to boiling; then cook rapidly, stirring constantly, for 45 to 60 minutes or until thickened.
  8. Remove spice bag.
  9. Pour marmalade into hot, sterile jars.
  10. Seal.
  11. Store in a cool, dry, dark place.
